Finishing linen thread (knot 2)
At the end of the backstitch, bring the thread out between the leather layers, tie a knot, pass it back inside between the stitches, pull the knot in, and cut.

How to glue and apply white adhesives (such as Saibinol)
It dries fast and will not bond once dry, so apply two or three thin coats, keeping glue off the edges, then press the pieces together with the edges aligned.

Finishing linen thread (knotting 1)
On hidden areas or the back, it is fine simply to tie a tight knot and flatten it with the back of a round awl or chisel.

Finishing linen thread (securing with adhesive)
At the end of the seam, put a thin layer of adhesive on the thread at the back and pull it tight, then add adhesive at the base of the thread and cut it.

How to bond with solvent-based adhesives (rubber cement, G17, Diabond, etc.)
Apply a thin coat so the adhesive doesn't spill past the bonding surface; once it has dried slightly, press the pieces together with the edges aligned.

How to wax thread
Press the thread against the wax and pull it through repeatedly, until it is stiff enough to stand up when you hold the end.

Finishing synthetic thread (Vinymo, etc.) by melting
Synthetic threads such as Vinymo can also be finished off by melting the ends.
