Step.1 Preliminary care
Brush the entire bag to remove dirt and dust. Put your hand inside the bag to hold it firmly, and brush carefully along the seams as well.

Brush the entire bag to remove dirt and dust. Put your hand inside the bag to hold it firmly, and brush carefully along the seams as well.

If the dirt does not come off, put some cleaner on a soft cloth (such as a towel), apply it over the entire bag, and remove the dirt.

Apply conditioning and antibacterial cream (Leather Cure Conditioning and Antibacterial Cream) over the whole bag. For large items (this also works for boots), using a sponge rather than a cloth makes the job easier and gives an even finish. Before applying the cream, test it on an inconspicuous spot (the inside, the bottom, etc.) to make sure it does not stain.

The corners of a bag are prone to scuffing, so apply conditioning and antibacterial cream (Leather Cure Conditioning and Antibacterial Cream) there and finish carefully. If the color darkens and looks stained after application, wait 10–30 minutes and see how it looks. If an oil stain forms, remove it promptly with cream.
[Caution!] Note that if the surface of the leather is scratched, it will turn black.

Let the bag dry thoroughly, then wipe it with a soft, dry cloth (such as a towel).
Apply waterproof spray (AMEDAS 420 water-repellent spray). Hold the can 15–20 cm away and spray evenly over the whole bag. Always ventilate the room when using waterproof spray. Before spraying, test it on an inconspicuous spot (the inside, the bottom, etc.) to make sure it does not stain. For antibacterial care, about once a week is best for items used daily, and about once a month for items used less often.
