Flowers that sway lightly, right by your side

With its atelier in Futako-Tamagawa, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, tomoko taguchi is a jewelry brand that began in 2014 as "Selieu." Its origins lie in flower corsages made by combining leftover fabric. Driven by the wish to "find a place where I can be myself and enjoy what I do," the brand has created flowers that add color to the lives of women who live with charm and grace. In spring 2026, marking its 12th anniversary, the brand was renamed "tomoko taguchi," the designer's own name. Making the most of nature's gifts such as light, soft pigskin and natural stones, it creates jewelry that stays by your side every day.

Seasonal Flower Jewelry Reflecting the Quiet Beauty of Nature

Commitment 1

The motifs are the small wonders of nature encountered while out on a stroll. Design ideas grow from taking in the colors and textures of flowers and plants at neighborhood florists, parks, and botanical gardens, and from noticing, on the way to the atelier, how buds swell and bear fruit. The jewelry, which adds natural stones and pearls to flower forms, spans pierced and clip-on earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and charms. Each piece is designed so you can enjoy meeting new flowers as the seasons come around.

A Light, Airy Feel Born of Delicate Handwork

Commitment 2

Soft pigskin is die-cut, and each tiny part is pressed with a heated iron to shape it into a petal. Through many steps of handwork and the careful assembly of parts, three-dimensional flowers bloom one at a time in the hand. Careful attention is also paid to a light, comfortable feel when worn, making the most of leather's qualities. Color orders, where you can consult on your preferred colors, and maintenance to help you enjoy your pieces for years are also available.

Ethical Creations, Delivered with Confidence

Commitment 3

The pigskin that forms the flowers is a by-product of Japan's food culture. Most of it is produced in Tokyo and tanned and dyed at tanneries in Sumida-ku, making it a natural material that Japan can supply 100% domestically. With pigskin that is soft yet strong and takes color vividly, materials that would otherwise have been discarded are reborn as flowers you will grow attached to. While cherishing the local leather industry and its resources, the brand carries this through to craftsmanship that considers people, society, and even the global environment.
