The Tochigi Leather used in this series differs from the leather of the signature bono series, with a softer finish. The leather is finished thinner, making it lighter. Oil is also worked in by hand after the product is made, giving it a distinctive expression. It represents a new take on Tochigi Leather from SLOW, combining the appeal of leather that gains character with use with softness and lightness. One of SLOW's long-sellers, symbolizing a "return to the origin" and "vintage." Unlike SLOW's signature BONO, it uses "rubono," a thinly finished leather into which oil is worked by hand to achieve a soft feel and distinctive texture. Originally used as a waist bag, the fanny pack is now also popular as a body bag.
