Python Mix Metal Sashiko Curved Riders Jacket

An ambitious piece from Obelisk, the brand that devised the technique of sashiko stitching on leather, here worked with fine chain instead of thread. After sewing, the jacket is wrung in water to give the whole piece a worn-in, creased look. Based on the beautifully silhouetted curved riders jacket, quilted python is placed on the shoulders for a gorgeous, three-dimensional expression. The underarms and sides are stretch deerskin, a structure that allows easy movement without any tightness. With the zip closed, it can also be worn as a simple riders jacket.
