Perforated Nubuck Sashiko Riders Jacket

A riders jacket born when Mr. Ishibashi, Obelisk's head of production, discovered that sashiko could be expressed by passing thread through perforated leather. On a base of indigo cowhide nubuck, a variety of patterns are drawn out with 44 hours of sashiko work alone. Combining a leather jacket with sashiko, the traditional Japanese needlecraft, it is a piece of uniquely Japanese originality. It won the Grand Prix at the Japan Leather Award 2023.
