Hotaori Patchwork Gloves Black

〈Grand Prize, 2020 Kagawa Prefecture Products Competition〉Hotaori, a traditional craft textile of Kagawa, is cut into small pieces, about 100 per hand and about 200 for the pair, and joined at random in 4 colors to make these gloves. The delicate gradations born of glove-sewing skill give each pair its own unique expression. The palm side works with smartphone touchscreens, and with women's and men's versions, they can be enjoyed as a matching pair. Playful and one of a kind, these gloves live up to their name in the local Sanuki dialect: Hotaori, neatly joined in abundance.
