EDO Dark Brown

The first model from Arthful, the brand Miyagi Kogyo develops under the concept of "Local Materials, Local Craft." A four-eyelet derby, its upper is made, in collaboration with Tochigi Leather, from the thick, sturdy hide of breeding pigs raised in Japan. The oblique last is shaped after the foot form of traditional Japanese footwear, easing pressure on the toes while firmly supporting the foot from heel to arch. The sole parts and wedge are made from upcycled cowhide that would otherwise have been discarded. Goodyear-welted construction allows partial sole replacement as well as a full resole.
