With its workshop in Taito-ku, Tokyo, Takanashi Co., Ltd. has continued to hone its solid skills and discerning eye as a maker of women's belts since its founding in 1974. Building on technical expertise that has also gone into making leather goods for Japanese luxury brands, it develops "bell la bell" as an original leather brand that handles everything from planning to manufacturing and sales in-house. Commitment 1
We offer a service for engraving initials or a special date. Choose the stamping color from gold, silver, black, or blind (uncolored) embossing, on a wide range of eligible items including wallets, key holders, and iPhone cases. Even an item of the same design becomes one that belongs to no one else the moment a name is stamped on it. Many people also choose it as a reward for themselves.
Carefully selected leathers from renowned tanneries

The leathers we use are carefully selected materials, each with its own character, such as shell cordovan, which deepens with time, and Buttero from a long-established tannery in Tuscany, Italy. Many items also use vegetable tanning with plant-derived ingredients, keeping the use of chemicals to a minimum. The difference in texture you feel the moment you pick one up is what decides a leather you will live with for years.

From cutting and skiving the leather to gluing, edge finishing, sewing, and inspection, our artisans complete every single step by hand. The experience and skills cultivated over many years of belt making have been applied to a wide range of items, including wallets and bags. What sets us apart is a commitment to careful craftsmanship, a world away from mass production overseas. Respect for the culture of using things for a long time lives in every detail of our work, such as repairing more than 1,000 belts a year for high-end brands.
