Headquartered in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture, Noble Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer that has devoted itself solely to women's shoemaking since its founding in 1964. Shoemaking that began in Asakusa moved its base to Kawaguchi as production became mechanized, and for more than 60 years the company has crafted shoes for numerous well-known brands. Drawing on the skills and knowledge built up over those years, the company launched its own factory brand, APENTE, in spring 2025. With a free-spirited sense of play as its concept, the brand continues to make shoes produced in Japan by skilled artisans that pursue design as well as high quality.
